Aident WebConnect enables the integration of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central with any e-commerce platform. Multiple e-commerce platforms (so-called “webshop tenants”) can be connected and managed.

Data Integration

Aident WebConnect creates a seamless connection between Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central and your e-commerce platform. Data such as customers, items, prices, availabilities, and order histories can be exported. The export can occur in real-time or periodically—individually configurable based on order volume or specific requirements. The import of customers, orders, or returns occurs in two stages: First, the data is stored in intermediate documents and automatically checked before being transferred to the ERP system. This ensures that only consistent and error-free data enters Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central. The checks are flexibly adjustable to meet specific customer requirements.

Data Management

In Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central, items, prices, customers, and availabilities can be defined and then exported to the e-commerce platform. Rules can be set to prevent the release of incompletely maintained items. These checks are programmatically extendable to consider specific customer requirements. Each webshop tenant can be assigned a warehouse group to accurately determine item availability.

Clear Interface Description

Aident WebConnect is based on a clearly defined interface specification, which is technically implemented by the e-commerce platform. No additional third-party software is required. The interface specification is available as an OpenAPI specification and can therefore be implemented by development teams with minimal effort.
